Exactly. That inaction is the shield that enables the evil.
The rule of law has frayed to the point of disintegration. It's not what you do, it's who you know. Folks like us can do our utmost to stay on the right side of the law and that's nice, but unimportant, just as long as we stay out of the crosshairs.
Folks like Hillary, Strzok, etc. can piss on the Constitution, use their high office for personal interests and personal gain, and they get to be hero worshiped by the folks who created the FSA, can defy Congress and the White House without hesitation, and live lives of privilege to the end of their natural days. They are protected against the rule of law. That's the definition of corruption in high office.
When the British did that in the colonies, things got different in a big way. Here, now; apparently not so much.
I had hoped that Trump would be the broom. But the beat goes on, and the swamp gets bolder by the day.
If you want to live in a nation of justice for all, look elsewhere. We all prattle the Pledge of Allegiance, but these days, they're just words without any real meaning.
