Gunsmithing pgw efr inner diameter

I'm working on a trade for a stock and pgw efr. Question is, what is the inner diameter of this particular efr? I've tried researching it and can't find a solid answer. My barrel is a bartlein mtu contour. It measures 1.184 at the point the barrel would first enter through the efr. Is that small enough? How much room should it have around it to be properly floated? Thanks for the help gents.

Not sure about the ID of that EFR but the Badger is 1.2" What kind of stock is it? If its a cheap stock there is going to be more flex in the forend and you will need more clearance for the barrel. Is it bedded in the stock straight? if not, add more clearance, will the barrel channel of the stock handle your MTU contour or will it need opened up? If thats the case you may need to remove the EFR and re-bed it

Its a mcmillan a4. Factory inletted for the efr.the barrel channel will be fine for my barrel. The stock I currently use is an m40 barrel channel, but my mtu barrel fits nicely and floated. I am asking just to be 100% sure I'm not screwing myself by making more work.

if you really want to run that EFR in the used stock your probably gona have to do some work to make it work. I really dont think its will be a drop in fit

I measured my PGW EFR and it is between 1.250" and 1.300" inside diameter(didn't want to tear down the rifle so I measured from the front on the exterior eyeballing the caliper)

The rifle was built using a Kreiger MTU profile barrel and it fits with good clearance. The barrel diameter is 1.160" at the front edge of the EFR.

Stock is a Mcmillan A4 factory inlet for the PGW EFR. An email to PGW might give you an exact dimension too
