32ish years ago, myself and 1 other person, would accompany the manager of the grocery store I worked at to the bank for the daily deposit. The 2 he would take was some what random. I asked why 3 people had to go to the bank together, it was company policy.
His reply was " 3 people can not keep a secret, nor a story straight, been proven 100's of times"

I think of that every time some dim-wit brings up 99% of the conspiracy theories.

I don't know which of the 3 is the stupidest, I guess homeless guy had nothing to loose and a lot to gain by claiming he did not get his fair cut.

I just can't believe that she admitted to the con in a text message. Ding-bat!

I’m surprised that people believe this is the first time someone lied or over embellished on go fuck me to get other people money.....

It's the depth of the con, the fact that she couldn't shut up and resist blowing through money, and the stupidity of their greed that resulted in shorting Bobbitt on his fair cut and causing him to try and squeeze-play them at the end. Had they played it differently, they could have all held onto a ton of eff you money and nobody would have been the wiser.

It reminds me of a heist that took place in South America I think, like Oceans 11 level... anyway, this group of guys masterminded a tunnel under a bank and stole millions in cash. And they would’ve gotten away with it but one guy kept buying exotic cars locally and turned a lot of heads his way.... he gets pinched for questioning and he spilled his guts and ratted out the whole team..... lmao!!!
Criminals are not overly burdened with ideas.....
