I heard that Magpul came out with a case for the iPhone. I don't own an iPhone so I have no use for one, just curious to see what they came up with. Anyone seen a pic? My search has come up empty.

My Brother has one and raves about it. I'd love to have one and if Verizon doesn't have the iPhone when it's time for a new phone I will probably go with the Droid.
My wife has threatened to cut off one of my balls if I buy another new phone before I've had this one for two years.

They gave me the iPhone cover as well as some 7.62 mags and 5.56 mags.

Since I'm Verizon, I run a Palm Centro, and the only thing I can say is for hard use, Otterboxes rule!
The Magpul "case" is the same as the pink shells chicks at the mall have on their iPhones, just tacti-cool.
They make some good stuff, but if his doesn't mount an iPhone to a rifle in a shock-isolated manner its just GI Jewelry.

definitely not an otterbox replacement, but a handy protector and if you leave all the tabs in it, it protects all the ports.

darn i was hoping they covered the front somewhat...but for 10$ i figured they didnt. however hey still look nice and if it covers the ports it would still be a "nice" case that might be thinner than the otterbox but i dont think it would protect near as much....still tacticool though haha

IMHO, Otterbox for iPhone is a great case. It really will protect your phone from most all hard knocks.
But, also MHO, the belt clip carrier is junk. I carried my iPhone almost 6 months before I got the Otter and never dropped it. I have inadvertently knocked it out of the Otterbox belt clip more times than I can count since then.
If anyone out there makes a better carrying case for the iPhone/Otter combination please let me know. I would really like to see swiveling clip on back of something fashioned after a Kydex mag pouch.

It looks like the tensioning devices have been beefed up, and IT IS VERY SECURE!!! Give them a call... they had mine out to me within 3-4 business days! Great customer service!

I emailed Otterbox asking if there was a fix to the loose belt clip. The responded that a revised clip was developed, due to all of the complaints of how loosely the original help the phone. They asked for my info and advised that a new one would be shipped at no cost to me.

I have bounced my iPhone a time or two because of the case. The only thing it gets used for now is to hold the phone to my visor when I am in the car.
