I'm planning to build or purchase a heavy scope sled to bolt my scopes to for testing the tracking and trueing up the clicks in my ballistic apps. My scopes are split between picatinny ring mounts which is easy to setup. My best ones are in Sphurs though with direct mounts to TRGs and Tikkas. Ideally I setup the sled with a picatinny rail on top for scopes in regular rings, and then have an adapter that connects to the picatinny with a Sako dovetail (I believe its 16.5mm) on top of that for testing the ones in Sphurs.

There are plenty of adapters to bolt to a Sako dovetail and convert it to picatinny, but it would be much more difficult to have a block with that dovetail machined in than just drilling and tapping a picatinny rail to the top and having an adapter on top of that for the Sphurs.

I spent too long searching the internet last night trying to find one and came up empty. Anyone seen such a thing?

Near has a rail that you just tap on with a mallet and a wooden dowel (to keep from marring it). It’s supposed to be tight and the recoil just seats it even deeper. Allegedly.

The Near rail is a picatinny that mounts to a sako dovetail. I need the opposite- a dovetail adapter that mounts to a picatinny. The Near rails are fantastic btw-
