Been lurking for the majority of my membership here, figured I should start posting after four years
.
Anyway, picked up this Annie from a local guy for $600. Serial puts it around '58 or '59 for the action, stock is early to mid '70s. Got a Harris bipod and sling on the way, hoping to join in on the rimfire competition fun! I need to replace the old 4-16 Tasco that came on there though...It isn't a bad scope, but it hasn't been treated very well and the lenses are at a level of griminess that no cleaning seems to help. Everything else is in beautiful condition, not even a ding in the wood.
If anyone has scope suggestions, I'm open to ideas. I'm thinking about one of the Vortexes that seem to be getting rave reviews recently, but I've been partial to Clearidge in the past on my rimfire rifles and their new XP5 line is tempting.
