Gunsmithing Pierce Action Light Primer Strikes

A Pierce Action, with a timney 510 with the longer sear "thingy" installed is giving massive light primer strikes on m118Lr, Hornady TAP, among others. Has anyone experienced this with the Pierce? Will a Jewell or Remington fix this issue? We are under a massive time crunch with this one....

Thanks. Turns out that the firing pin was/is rubbing in the channel.
