what is a "opticsplanet leupold custom shop"? is it a custom shop optics planet runs for leupold products or is opticsplanet the middleman between you and leupold's custom shop?
We offer the Leupold custom shop services here at OpticsPlanet.com. So if youre looking at getting a custom scope along with a few (or many) other items for youre build we can take care of it all in one order. If you have questions about any of teh custom shop services feel free to send me a PM. Keep in mind when placing an order, a custom scope needs to be built up and during the major hunting seasons build times can be lengthy or some services take a little longer. If you need a scope right away, many custom services can always be added later by the custom shop direct.

I was just wondering if it would be possible for you to contact Leupold and check on the status of my order? Going on 16 weeks for a reticle change has got me a little impatient.
