please help identify this rem 700

I was told it has a 24in barrel

I agree on the 700p. Looks like the hs precision stock. I have one in .308

If this is your rifle you can call Remington with the serial number and they will be able to tell you exactly what it is and anything else you would like to know about the rifle.
