First let me say thanks for letting me join the forum today.
So after shooting the M14 again, I have been thinking about getting 2 new rifles, one small cal and one large cal. I sold both of my guns about 2 years ago, for dumb reasons. I decided to buy a ACR, when it is released, for a small cal rifle. Now I am looking for a long distance/large cal rifle. I prefer to keep the modular caliber and changeable barrel since I will only need to buy 1 rifle and that is easier to move around with than 3 of them.
I have been doing some research online (currently deployed in Afghan) and the only rifle to meet my criteria is the unreleased Remington MSR, I would like to buy this rifle this century. Basically I am looking for:
1)Interchangable caliber and barrel
2)Available in .308 and .338
3)1913 rail for optics and a bipod
4)prefer bolt action but will work with semi-auto
Any help is appreciated as I am rather frusterated trying to find a weapon and the only thing to pop up is the remington msr.
