Rifle Scopes Please Tell Me How a Mildot Master Works

Briefly it's a slide rule. align the height of your target with the size in mils(that you have observed through your scope) and read the result as the 'range to target'.
Buy it. It comes with a good book explaining the use and theory and math of the mil dot.
I'm glad I bought it. Saves having to do the math in your head.
OH, and no batteries required.

Built in angle compensation "for dummies" as well. Best money you'll ever spend. Simple, fast, reliable and easy. Even self explanatory. Once you get it in your hand you'll feel silly for asking. I think I have four kicking around in different rifle cases and should pick up another for the next "new shooter" we get hooked on long range...............buy with confidence.

Well worth $30. Excellent tool. You can use it with MOA or Mils using the right side for mil or MOA reading and target size and then reading range on the left side. Ignore the right side saying "Bullet Drop" on the top.

the estimate angle/incline is pretty good from what i seen. but if you are quick at math, you can find the range and adjacent in your head, provide you have a look up table for cosine(degree)
