Long time lurker, figured it was a good time to join. I'm just getting started in long range rimfire, much easier on the wallet and the kids can join in.
About me... I've been shooting my whole life, then decided to make it part of my career. After the corps, I went back to school for an engineering and manufacturing degree. I'm currently head machinist and programmer at a small job shop that specializes in concept to production, with most of our parts being from the aeronautics industry. I've done some gunsmithing in the past, mainly threading barrels and truing actions.
I'm big into shooting and building PCP air rifles, and have gotten the company I work for on board with manufacturing and selling our own parts and gun line. I kind of lost interest in my powder burners, but am trying to get back into it with the rimfires.
