Question for the builders here. I’ve been building since 2017 and have been pleased with how my rifles shoot, but it has taken up to 100 rounds for a few to settle in. I use fresh, sharp reamers from Mansen or JGS. Chambers look perfect on the Hawkeye. I thinks it’s just the burnishing of the lead angle taking a bit as best I can guess.
Is it possible to shorten that process? I know one guy who scrubs his throats with JBs bore paste.
Thanks,
Brian
