POLL: Color/Stock Color Combo

Having STR build my first custom rifle, probably the only one for a while since I'm getting married, and she's in school.
It is as follows:

STR/Stiller Tac30 in .308
Obermeyer Tight bore finished @ 18.5" (SF Suppressor to come)
Mcmillan A-5 w/Integral Cheek Peice
R&D/M5 Bottom Metal
Timney Trigger @ 2.5 lbs
SF 762-K Brake
Badger NV Mount

Since this will be one I have for AWHILE then having trouble deciding on color combo. Yes I do shoot my guns and no this is not going to be a safe queen. I do want this rifle to look good though. I don't have plenty of money so I would paint it up if I had more rifles but this one is it probably for along time. I'm doing the stock in Mcmillan OD green but what color should I do the metal? Metal will probably be Ghraphite Black or FDE/Tan. Give me a +1 for whatever color you would do. If you have any other ideas go ahead.

A rifle doesnt need to have mezmorizing colors to be a work of art. I get more excited seeing a beat to hell rifle with a 3 year old functional paint job wearing thin.

I say OD Green on the stock and flat black on everything else.

I feel the same way. I really like the XM-3 and M40/A3 look because it looks professional and all business. I just like the a-5 better then the a1-3.

Don't want to paint it up just in case I have to sell it to fund something else. You have to have the right market to sell something with krylon on it. I have an old SPS that is Krylon'd I use to hunt with anyway.

This is my first real custom gun and just want it to be nice. It will be going to several schools so trust me it will see plenty of use and get plenty of wear.

Ozzie built one pretty close to what you are having built. I got the swirl pattern done.

As for my other rifle... It's beat up spray paint

I will probably get Todd to paint it later on if I ever do camo. I just didn't have the money to do it now. Going to put that money towards a scope.
