Alright, with your help i've narrowed it down to these two, but i'm torn with making a possible bad decision. I want the best for my money and don't want to settle. I do not want to spend more so these are the only two i'm looking at. With the info below i'd like you to vote on which you would go with.
-Both are FFP.
-Both are in MRADs
-Vortex is illuminated, SWFA is not.
-Vortex is ~$875 and SWFA is $1,300, both are NIB.
-Both are in stock and ready to ship.
-There are more "turns" available on the SWFA for greater adjustment for long range shooting.
-I will not be shooting out past 600 yards anytime soon.
-First real long range setup for me. I'm a newb.
-These are not to hunt with currently, just target shooting at the range.
-I want a good, clear scope, that is going to hold zero, track well, and provide me with long lasting use.
Mounting on a R700 TT with Burris rings and Leupold 15moa mount.
Please help me decide The extra money I would save with the Vortex would go towards ammo, but I don't want to be disappointed in my choice.
