Re: Pork anyone?

Tom, I thought you were pushing one out - I just didn't wanna say anything.

Smack, yeah it was a lot of work. We were guttin/skinnin way longer than we had planned on. But yeah, it was fun too.

Re: Pork anyone?

AWESOME!!!!!!! I hope you guys have better luck with killing pigs in the trap than I have. Usually if I killed a pig or got blood on the ground in the trap, Id have to move the trap. The pigs absolutely wouldnt come back in it. Move it 50 yards and they were all over it again. Now we back a trailer up to the trap and drive them in the trailer, carry them to the house and kill em'. Good pics. Congrats.

Re: Pork anyone?

Let's see, I think this time I started with half paprika and half brown sugar, then added (without measuring anything) garlic powder, onion salt, a little cumin, celery salt, black pepper and a dash of cinnimon.

I don't think I ever do it the same way twice. I just mix until is smells right. That one did pretty well with hickory. Cooking beef over mesquite is totally different.
