On the other hand, the company is now an internal mess. There have been waves of layoffs and firings. Their spam and bot claims have been proved utterly useless. Their stock has taken a huge hit and their remaining employees options are so far underwater all the little paper millionaires are hosed. Their CEO looks like a joke. Their board members are open to actions for not controlling the company’s rampant fakery of account data. Their sponsors may turn on them and certainly will demand changes to pricing structures.
And Musk has $44-ish billion spare dollars now lying around to make a run at Facebook. I am sure their numbers and stats are MUCH more defensible….
