This would have been a better argument a decade or two ago, but as Republican voters have become poorer and more rural, and Democrat less, a tax on driving starts to hurt just the people who won't vote for them anyway. I mean, I'd still make the argument, but it is less potent than when Democrat voters were farmers and blue collars.

Overall, yes, those are the prevailing trends, but it's not like there is a complete absence of Dem voters living in quasi-urban areas or the suburbs where public transport options largely don't exist. Doesn't matter, anyways; Uniparty Republicans can't make an effective argument for water being wet or the sky being blue (but they sure can vote for another couple trillion dollars in deficit spending!).

If the uneducated, poor, and criminals (convicted and unconvinced) could not vote there would be no Democrat party, period. It would only be a bunch of ultra-wealthy, spoiled, metrosexual kids, and wealthy deviants who imagine themselves patricians. Keeping the American people ignorant is their only path to power, which is why they control all public education.

Poor people don't buy $12,000 rifle systems, but you're such a moron you are literally trying to falsely stereotype your enemies while in their midst.

Don't worry, honey. Someday you will make an argument that makes sense, and then you can move away from your performative uniparty dance. I know you aren't dumb, I have seen it in threads where you explain engineering principles. You just need to work harder elsewhere.

Lol, back again after your 18 million people in five precincts disaster? Most Democrat poors live in cities and tend not to use private transportation as much as do rural voters. So the people hurt most are the rural poor and working class, then the rural employer class. Both of these are highly Republican. This isn't hard to understand for people with two brain cells to rub together. Sadly, you are a few short.

People with $12,000 rifles isn't a voting group. And they sure as hell aren't my enemies.

wrong again.
most people that vote for democrats don't make enough to pay a cent in federal taxes, pay a greater percentage of income on housing, have less discretionary income, and will be impacted more, despite the fact that they might drive fewer miles.
the exception are those that reply on public transportation.

151.00 in these parts.

I might've been looking at the wrong one, but still. Pretty cheap, and certainly affordable. As is an ID.

See, I'm pretty sure that MOST people do actually have an ID. It's hard not to. You need one for an awful lot of things, even mundane shit like having a car or buying booze. Which just shows it's not really about the IDs.

Shouldn't you be off posting memes or ranting about the Joos? Mileage taxes fall most heavily on those who travel the furthest and use the lowest gas mileage vehicles. It is true that a lot of poor people vote Democrat, but their travel mileage and expenses is not significant compared to poor people who vote Republican, because, as you say, they drive fewer miles. I'm not saying they aren't hurt at the margins, but the majority of this tax would fall right where the Democrats would like it to... on Republican voters.

lol, so the german will have to put off buying new thermal gear or maybe have that wagu less often.

the poors will have to choose between beer and shoes.
it's a tough decision in a town called malice.

As it's clear some have missed.
Folks that drive more/drive less efficient vehicles are already paying more tax.
Every time they fill the tank the tax, which is substantial in some places, is paid.

My state also has excise taxes....initially just a temporary thing that in the terms of the present was to "flatten the curve" of road costs.

I think we been paying excise taxes 50 or 60 years on now.

Its all about "more, more, more".

Only recently did we get "less" than only temporary and now set to be repealed entirely.

Really? You are thoroughly trounced on your regurgitated talking points about a fair election and you rest your hat on the fact that I made a mistake in how I refer to the tabulating centers? Go back and look who thinks that was "a disaster", population you. It was clear what I meant, as it is against the law to actually open or count a vote at the precinct, as it is also against the law in most states to suspend the vote counting for any reason, as they did in GA for no reason whatsoever, except to cheat.

The election was completely stolen, and if slavering communists like you did not already know it was stolen there would be a thousand investigations into all the "abnormalities" and statistically impossibilities, yet instead there is a total media blackout, much like the exploits of the Biden crime family. Imagine if DJT or any other Republican had stolen an election so brazenly and with such massive evidence in the public square.
You are most certainly the enemy of every American who does not hate their country and who is not a racist.

You mean like going after FL Rep Matt Gaetz, but not a damn thing about hunter biden and the russian deals, the illegally purchased weapon...etc. Surely thou jest......

Fig, I think you hit the nail through the board with that sledgehammer.

I'll work harder at it when someone wants to pay me well to do it; until then, I'll just continuing being lazy with the understanding that my only compensation for the task will be the annoyance of all involved.

Population me and reality, but who's counting? I mean your killer fact was that Joe Biden stole 18 million votes in five precincts, so the only thing somebody else agreeing with you means is that they are as stupid and ill informed as you are. You sound like nothing other than the most deranged Russia truther. Like Rachel Maddow on the rag. If somebody like that considers me an enemy, I'll wear that proudly.

what do tesla drivers pay to charge their cars on the road?

At least in my state, they're paying a fuck-ton to register an expensive car, and then it's another $135/year in fees and taxes that are applied to an EV. It adds up to more than the fuel taxes I pay for a year's worth of mileage on my diesel van.

where i live the internet tells us we pay ~$0.50/gal in taxes (out of the $4.10/gal being charged down the road).

I would love to see everyone on that soon call but..oh yeah the conservatives have to work.
That joke/statement about liberals and leftists not having jobs, isn't funny. For whatever amount of truth there is to it, that just means that portion of them can be full-time dedicated to their ideals.

That's pretty much how most of us are being controlled right now. "The things we own, end up owning us"

News item on OAN this AM is that GA election officials can not come up with chain of custody forms for some 400K ballots.

By law they are required to maintain them, the ballots would be null without them.

Trump "lost" by what 12K votes?

Fulton County, remember Ruby, is one of those areas.

Crickets though.

So uh...

They don't want to show an ID to vote, yeah? What exactly did they show to buy those guns, then? What did they show that allows them to operate motor vehicles?

If a $30 state ID card or driver's license is so expensive and "unobtainable" for so many people, why's the DMV always full to the brim with people of every size, shape, and color? If you can afford rinky-dink airsoft gear, you can pay for a damned ID card, and the ID card will last longer with use.
Here in Wisc., it costs $28 bucks for an ID. I would be willing, for the "poor" of my state, to have some of my reg./licensing cost be applied/used, for everyone to be able to prove who they are, especially at the voting booth. That cost, I would be willing to absorb. I get it, I was lucky, most of the time, I made better choices in my life, and some people didn't. If you live, work, and are a LEGAL citizen of this country, you need to prove it. IF you can't, you don't need to be voting in our elections, period.

While that may or may not be true, the data suggests that red states pay out (as in consume - pay to the end user) more than they take in (as in collect, i.e., taxes), and that blue states are willing to pay for their programs, where red states prefer to just use them. Also, Democrat voter wages are on the rise, where Republican voter wages are on the wane. Same with education levels. You can hate education and intellect all you like, but you're being cancelled by educated minorities.

This is problematic, because while we sit here and whine about how far we're straying from our founding principles, Conservatives are getting stupider, less motivated, and hostile to any kind of thinking that acknowledges a contemporary society. (even the founding fathers stated that the world was for the living, and our government should be a reflection of the people who are living at the time)

Even worse news - it's actually white people that are regressing, specifically. (we need to wake the fuck up, and ask why that is - if you're not clever enough to figure it out, take your place in history)

I'm not affiliated with either party, so don't bring your hate on me. I'll consider the best data available to me.

As always, hate the source if you like, but come up with better research, if you have it.

Cheap, trashy......thinks she gets her worth from her title.
LOL. You nailed it. Exactly like that bullshit Ed.D. behind her name. Her come fuck me slut stockings, short skirt --she's trying a little too much for a woman of her age... You'd think she'd know the difference. OR have some respect for her position and the office of the President. She's as despicable as that c*cksucking c*nt Camel Ho.

you can't judge it by color of the state. get out of here with your libtarded stat twisting.
your shit is similar to the "illegals commit less crime than citizens" bullshit.

california is a "blue" state, but we pay by far more federal income taxes than other states because despite being "blue", there are more conservative trump voters like me that pay tens of thousands in federal taxes than total trump voting population of 10 "red" states combined

You think CA pays lots of federal taxes because it has a lot of conservatives?

Prove it.

I've lived on the west Coast. In educated fields, where the median income is greater than $100K, do you want to really tell me that there are more Trump voters than... whatever else?

You're fucking delusional. On the strength of Silicon Valley alone, you're straight retarded.

it is because higher population, and a large portion of that population is middle-class.
people that actually pay taxes are generally more conservative
(excluding the elite rich that are rich no matter how much taxes they can't pay an accountant to avoid).

6+ million californians voted for trump, not counting whatever he was cheated out of.
5 red states with small populations like the dakotas combined to just over 1 million trump votes.

What was the median income for those voters?
What was the median income for those who voted for "other"?

That's the heart of the matter, retard. You're telling me that red state voters are paying the lion share of taxes, and I'm saying that you haven't offered a single shred of data to support that. To the contrary, the educated labor pool does not exist in the dakotas. That's farm ground. Most of the midwest states pay huge amounts in state property tax, just to support road maintenance for access to farm ground. Of course they don't want a huge federal tax burden on top of that.

Big tech doesn't set up shop in places like Nebraska. Why would you think that Conservatives are fielding the biggest tax burden, when they're increasingly making less money? And knowing that liberals and progressives love to bleed (money) for their (lost) causes?

Der der derr....

In fact, I'd argue that this is exactly the point at which they're going to reverse the narrative on you.

here in california, if you are homeless or poor you can get a waiver for the fee so it is free.

And my point was that you need to choose different logic when evaluating your adversaries. Because there are a lot of liberal/progressives who are not only willing to raise your taxes to pay for shit, but are willing to be subject to paying the same. Your logic is myopic, and wholesale faulty.

You are not well-equipped to lead any charges in a culture war, with such base thinking. (as evidenced by the fact that you call someone a "libtard" for using data, and yet can't rebut it with anything sensible) At best, you're phenomenal for keeping everyone angry, grumbling, but otherwise doing fuck-all.

you are arguing for liberal policies and are generally wrong in every opinion i have seen from you - hence libtarded.

as i said already, there are many democrats that have so much expendable income that an increase in taxes doesn't impact their actual lifestyle.
