I would guess this actually has less to do with high energy costs and more to do with cheap Chinese aluminum imports being allowed to flood into the marketplace. Just like when Obama was in office. You could roll the energy prices into the market price of the product if you have a level playing field but cheap imports disrupt the normal market.
