My question was "Where is the accountability for the leadership? The patrol officer is just a product of the training provided. There is VERY LITTLE follow on taser training after the initial issue. For firearms it is typically a yearly qual. Why aren't the people providing funding to train being held accountable for providing the bare minimum? Why aren't the pols ever held accountable for not providing the training to achieve the standards that they claim police should be capable of - House of Horrors decision making, Simunition Training, Weapons transition.....the ability to make that knee shot everyone asks about?"
The instructor (Likely forced into giving the training...good guys) could only say "I know, I know"

No doubt this was something likely caused (in the absolute end) by lack of stressful training. However, as I posted in the other thread. Break out of handcuff grip, reach, enter car, fight with LE. I don't have a lot of sympathy at that point. Ultimately, the person pulled over caused the situation to explode by trying to flee - just happened to pay with his life.
Things are getting bad.
Its basically now resist, flee, put people in danger....you get a pass.
