That's the point. Guns and accessories won't be "lawfully" owned anymore. They will just nickel and dime it? Use it for plea fodder in other cases? Yeah man, game on. Fuck it. I wonder if they will go the executive order route first then go for full blown legislation? If it's an executive order I doubt it will have any effect except in manufacture and dealer sales. Eventually everything will dry up except what's buried down by pig pen.

There are plenty of stories both in this country and also in other countries where after some grumpy old freedom loving guy died, his greedy, brainwashed sheep of children or grandchildren found something "freedom tool" related in the garden or attic and promptly turned it in to the local SS.
New York has been pretty blatant about as soon as somebody dies, the goon squad is there trying to "pressure" and "coerce" the spouse or heirs to give up everything and sign away any rights....
It remains pretty unlikely that a major gun law will get through in the next two years. Would have been impossible if Rs hadn't fucked themselves in Georgia.

Yeah, I agree. There are a lot of reasons for this. Most notably, the government can't be seen telling people to eat a protein based diet because it would be racist as it is expensive. Also, a number of groups, in all races, have decided that it is better to eat garbage than to cook for their families. It's a fucking mess. Americans look exactly as you would expect them to if they ate exactly what the FDA recommended.
My guess is that this will be talked about, but is very unlikely. There is no appetite in the Dem donor pool for this, so if it happens, which would require every Democrat to sign on, it would be evidence that the inmates are running the asylum. I still think their zookeepers hold the reins.

The "war on fats" in foods is what destroyed american health.
Then the deal with the devil that the government made with the corn farmers to force high fructose corn syrup to be in everything instead of sugar, because a stable food price index was better for political cover sealed the deal.
For example, thanks to the federal government, the schools were federally forbidden from offering kids cheap healthy whole milk to drink.
Instead they had 2 of the worst possible choices, Low Fat Chocolate Milk or Orange Juice.
Both of which were the worst things you could give your kids due to the high sugar / corn syrup content.

In this case, I don't think so. With the corporate takeover of the DNC, there is more of a tension between the economic factions, while there is less tension between the social issues factions. In other words, the blue collar workers and the progressives agreed on trade, taxes and unions, but disagreed on many social issues. Now the blue collar workers are Republicans more and more, and the Dems have full agreement on social issues, abortion, guns, but much more tension between the progressives and the corporates on corporate taxes and ideas like this. Not that they can't do it, but it is just a different ballgame. It literally isn't commies vs capitalists anymore, it is something different.

The above is why I eat a largely organic diet, high in natural grains, vegetables, fruits, with beef and fish several times a week. I dont drink tap water, get if weekly from a spring. Dont really care for poultry or pork. I know we all joke about it but bacon is really bad for you, lots of salt which causes high blood pressure. Most pork and fowl isnt very good if for no other reason than the way its raised, unless you raise it, or hunt and get wild game. Theres a reason the black folks have a very high problem with high blood pressure...pork is cheap. A cow will have on calf per year and it takes two years for it to be ready to slaughter...pigs have two letters a year with up to ten piglets. I grew up on farms and I remember how free range chicken tasted. The garbage they sell at KFC and Shit-filet smells so bad it makes me want to hurl.
