Governments are made of people. Human nature is the course of the day. If there is a will, there will be a way. If COVID tracking tech can be used to suppress dissent, they will jump on it quicker than a fly to shit. When the first small cameras were invented at the turn of the 20th century, fraternities of perverts and pedophiles were already devising ways to use them to take upskirt photos of women in public.

It is our job as citizens of whatever countries we are in to live MORALLY JUST, not exactly "abiding by the law". There are laws out there which are designed to render a citizen completely defenseless against criminals and tyrants. As scary as that is, it's scarier to me this is going to be tied to "social credit" which is likely to take money (if there is such a thing) away from you based on your beliefs (irrespective of which fake political party is in office).
