Would I be rascist to assume the race of the victim?
There are photos in the article. She's white. And, NO, you are not racist.
My heart goes out to the victim and families. It saddens me to see a young life snuffed out. However, I want to go out on a limb with an observation.
I tried to look up information on the suspect to see if he had a prior criminal record but came up dry. This may not be the case with the victim and the suspect so I'll speak in generalities.
Why do the women have to go after the bad boys? Like I said, this may not be the case but just look at the dude. Yes, we should not judge a book by the cover.
However, the victim was a stereotypical popular girl. All too often these girls go after the bad boys and end up paying the cost.
I cannot find the article now but read a story of a recent murder-suicide in Florida. The husband was a convicted and registered sex offender out on an early release. He killed his wife and her children from a previous marriage. The victim's relatives said she didn't know about his criminal record. I find that hard to believe.
In my own experiences, the women chasing the bad boys, is more than a hypothesis. They are not attracted to the nice guys that will love and take care of them through hard times but want the six foot Chads and Tyrones.
If this was the case with this young lady, she paid for it with her life.
My sincere apologies to anyone that may have known the victim and her family if I am wrong on this.
