That’s a mask. Not the same dude.

I just finished reading this book:
View attachment 8246308

In this book it talks about him and his crew getting shot down in the bad side of town. He had a couple of engineers on board, crew chief, gunner and copilot. They "land" and looking them in the face is a bunch of VC doing their laundry. They looked at each other for several sec trying to put 2+2 together, then they bail and start shooting at each other. The crew had weapons, but pilots only carry a 38 revolver. This pilot got a gift of an M2 carbine and always flew with that. He had a bandoleer of ammo he kept with it.

Things are getting sporty he sees a guy trying to run around to the side and he dumps a clip into the one guy.

He only has one mag.

Now everyone else is shooting and he is reloading his one mag.

They make it out.

I told that story because of your mag reference. I don't remember in the book but I have a feeling he carried more mags after that.

I don't shoot my AR very much, I see it as a bit of a toaster, just appliance. I can hit what I point it at, and that is about it. Comes out about every 3 years to make sure it shoots. Then in the safe it goes.

Someone gave me one of those new fangled PMags a while ago, never even took it out of the package. Figured today is the day to shoot it. Up to that point only GI mags I used. I sit down there on my bench and start loading this fucking Pmag.....god this sucks and will never end. Now I understand all those speed loader gizmos, this sucks. Loading a 5-20 round GI style mag is no big deal, that pmag just sucks.

Gun came with 2 5 round mags, bought it way back in the 90's when they wanted to take them away from us then. Up to that point it was the most expensive gun I owned.
I have the 5.56 rifle mag loader and the 9mm pistol loader. I love them

ROMEIKE FAMILY UPDATE:

Deportation of Romeike family has been granted a delay of one year as this case heads up to the courts. Once again, a major thanks and kudos to everybody who has shared and made the petition viral. This is not over for them yet but with the pressure and recognition this case has gotten nationwide, it will be the shield they need.

Perhaps. Perhaps just more scare tactics to increase surveillance. If it saves just one life.

A lot of information in one article. I'm not buying "the numbers" the FED's are spewing out. Similar to the fox giving a count of chickens in the hen house.
Financial reporting is now done in the Billions of dollars. That used to be reported in the Million's of dollars.
Who is verifying all of this "reporting" ?
We now have hundreds of "Data Centers" linked by super computers. Within minutes the nationwide price of widgets can be compiled.
Depending on how reporting needs to be "spun" the lowest priced widget (or the highest priced widget) can be plugged into the report.
The same can be said for gasoline, bacon, tires, oatmeal, etc. It is now a numbers game that means nothing to the average American.
What matters today is how many dollars are left in the budget the day before payday.

Ignore these bullshit inflation reports. Look up how much less the average person/family takes home this year compared to last year. I do not give a shit about the CPI basket when my take home has dropped due to real inflation, not some bullshit conflagration from the GOV.
