Let's use this story as a segue and comparison to Hamas invading Israel and the right of each individual to be his or her own first responder.

First, Hamas terrorists knew that the settlers were likely to be either unarmed or slightly armed now that it's been revealed that Israel isn't as pro-gun as we first assumed.

The cartels and other border jumpers know that South Texas residents, even if heavily armed, are reluctant to shoot them where they stand because of being brought up on murder charges.

Second, there has been an extremely misplaced trust in both the Israeli and US/Texas governments by the respective citizens to protect them. When seconds count the police are minutes, or hours or days away.

Would Hamas still have launched an attack even if the Israeli settlers in the Kibbutzims were heavily armed and would shoot to kill, on sight, any goat fucker crossing the wire? Maybe. However it would have been done with a massive rocket artillery prep. Which happened anyway but they would have had to use an overwhelming force of infantry. Correct me if I'm wrong but the setters outnumbered the invaders but didn't outgun them,

The average goat fucker is a coward and won't pick a fight unless they think they can win. If every house on every Kibbutz had a REAL assault rifle for every family member the goat fuckers wouldn't be so happy to die for their god.

It's true there will always be the suicide bombers and the like but that's more like an exception to their way of life. They train the very young, impressionable or mentally unstable for the suicide attacks. Even if they used a lot of suicide bombers that turns them into more of a reactive target for the farmer-turned-marksman. Heck it might make it sort of fun to watch them blow up with a single 5.56 mm round. Okay, call me sick. I'm guilty.

Now back to the cartels and border jumpers. If they know certain death awaited them from very pissed off and heavily armed civilians who had the green light from the government to shred them with lots of 5.56mm rounds and leave them to be feasted upon by the chupacabra, they would not cross.

Given immunity from prosecution there's lots of civilians who would have made sure those islands couldn't be uses and the border would be secure. And guess what else, it would not involve taxpayers' money!

BTW, this is still in the constitution:

"To declare War, grant Letters of Marque and Reprisal, and make Rules concerning Captures on Land and Water." - US Constitution, Article 1, Section 8, Clause 11, Congress Enumerated War Powers.

i don't think those little settlements are big enough to actually hit with one of those crude rockets. from what i can gather, they just shoot at larger cities and hope they hit something.
if all the settlements and kibbutzes were armed like that one with an armory and trained responders, this could have been thwarted. jmo.

I declined to attend these events but I am sharing this experience now to underscore just how severe indoctrination has become across college campuses. Professors will literally offer to improve your grade if you attend a protest or “get involved” in a variety of their left-leaning causes. In this same class, the assigned textbook stated that Donald Trump gassed protesters on his way to visit the church during BLM riots. It was a literal printed lie in a university textbook. I of course argued with my professor and the students who were convinced it did actually take place. People do not realize the state of college campuses today and how nearly impossible it is for students not to fall victim to the lies they are learning in their classrooms.

I’m really surprised that some pissed off Texans/ land owners in other states haven’t given some invaders their wrath already. Word gets out that the cartel coyotes are dropping might make a few/many think twice before crossing ?

Talk to me about foreign wars AFTER:

1) We completely close our borders.
2) Put a moratorium on ALL immigration until we deport ALL illegal immigrants.
3) Cutout the freebies which encourage the illegal invasion here.
4) Authorize civilians to use deadly force on armed invaders crossing our borders.
5) Make ALL women eligible for the selective service. If she gets pregnant to avoid the draft, she still has to serve and face deployment and serve in combat after the baby is born. If she gets pregnant again she faces a full court martial. If convicted, she forfeits pay, rank, benefits and gets confinement. If a male military member knocks her up, he faces the same punishment.
6) Stop giving money to foreign governments with money borrowed from China.
7) Stop giving money to foreign governments without getting something of equal value from them in return.
8) We ONLY get involved in foreign wars when OUR interests are at risk.

Did I forget anything?
