Back in the 60's the term was to "lower the curve".... Sounded scientific. We all became poorly educated, not just the blacks. After high school I had to educate myself up to industry standards... Funny how that all worked out...We became what was termed "Field Engineer". The colleges lowered their standards for the 4 year degree Engineers. The Field engineers had to teach the Degreed Engineers how to build stuff. Then CAD was going to save the world.
