Hardly.

The number of aircraft crashes/accidents reported within FAA in the last few years is a small fraction of what they were 30 yrs ago.
Even isolating the last 12 months, accidents and fatalities are minute compared to historical numbers.

Over 30,000 flights per DAY and over 2 million souls in the air per DAY is our average right now.
The few crashes and mechanical incidents making the headlines are an exceptionally small failure rate compared to the actual traffic volume.

Just like some of the manufacturing and food processing fires being posted, certain headlines can be filtered or hand-picked to exaggerate perception. We are so connected with instantaneous news feeds and social media in the palm of our hands that it is easy manipulate news of any event good or bad.

Our government and MSM is guilty of it but so are individuals that are trying to counter government and MSM.

Of course they do! :ROFLMAO: Back when our laws were enforced, Tyson had the worst record of getting raided for hiring illegals...long track record.
During the Clinton years we did a sting on the local Tyson. We had video of the HR manager providing fake DLs and social security cards.
It was bad enough the HR manager shot himself rather than face trial.
The feds used a completely green prosecutor and there were no convictions.
Rotten to the core.

Get rid of the freebies and people will have to go to work if they want to eat. They will have to accept jobs that many consider unpleasant.

Get rid of the minimum wage and the marketplace will decide the real cost of labor.
You would like to think so but not really. My grandmother was born in 1903 and lived till 2005. I would talk to her for hours on end about the old days and what they were like. One day we were talking about the Great Depression and I mentioned that very thing. I said since there was no food stamps and welfare everyone had to work or go hungry right. Her answer was emphatically NO. She said they would plant somewhat of a garden and then let it grow up in weeds and only worked if they were starving. They would go around begging for food all the time. They would put them to work hoeing the garden, washing clothes or fixing fences and they would get paid with something out of the garden. They never worked longer than it took to earn enough food to feed them for a day or so. I remember her telling me that a lazy person is only good at one thing and that’s being lazy.

"Sponsors would be expected to support newly arrived refugees by greeting them at the airport, securing and preparing initial housing, enrolling children in school and helping adults find employment."

Wut? I mean really, WUT DA FUQ?
