Isn't that what many school districts do in America? Graduate kids who can't read or perform basic math.
Yet, still get a diploma! So the district gets its funding. Everything .gov controls is a fraudulent scam!
The real scam is that poor reading and math skills among graduates is proof that MORE funding is required. Taxpayers in my area just told the District to go pound sand. I'm sure the District will find a way to penalize students rather than ditch their bloated administration.

If you took data from the last forty years and graphed $ vs reading/math comprehension of HS graduates as a function of time it would look pretty bad. We can thank democrats, women and the teachers union for the dumbing down of society.

Agree. Every time the school has more money they spend most of it on administration and pay packages for management and superintendents. The public school system is a corrupt bloated bureaucracy of vile leftist indoctrination. We are not getting value for the money poured into education in this country!
The children are being abused and not getting a real education in basic math/ science or literacy. Nor any skills
to prepare them for life skills.

We told the school district to pound sand many times. They then started hiding school referendum votes.
By no longer talking about them . They stopped using signs/fliers and ads. They did this so the older people wouldn't turn out to vote no. Now they got the democrats to change when the school referendum votes could occur. They can now have referendum every year. Even on non election years. They will no doubt hide these referendums from the public and make sure their allies turn out to vote!

Hardly anyone is openly discussing one of the root problems. . . .

No matter how much money you throw into a school district, you cannot buy your way out of animals being the bulk of your "student body".

The average child entering K or 1st grade is from a single parent or no parent household. They have no concept of discipline, respect or drive to learn. They have no support structure at whatever passes for home and the adult examples in their life lack the same attributes needed by a responsible adult. Breeding kids is not the same as actually raising them.

Only a few examples of this type child in each classroom is enough to subvert the entire class but instead of a few, there are many in each class.

The school districts with the most $/student spending are the worst performers because of this.

NYC spends $35,914/yr PER STUDENT
Washington DC spends $27,425/yr PER STUDENT
San Francisco $23,654
Atlanta $22,882
Baltimore $22,424

All are heavy Blue and are the worst performers in the nation.

Money doesn't fix it. Administrations just throw $ at the problem to create the appearance of concern.
Just like with all government run entities, when massive amounts of money do not fix it, they take a deep breath and double the budget.

In similar fashion, when standardized school testing shows a school underperforming, they simply alter the test guidelines to produce favorable data in the eyes of the administration in charge of their funding.

To have a healthy crop of responsible and productive adults, you have to start with a healthy crop of seed. It isn't happening.

I really wish I could argue the point with you, but...........

If the outcome is negative that is “devolution”, which is what happens with diversity.

Sometimes.

Where I grew up we were Jews, Polish, French, Slavic, Black, etc.. and they managed not to kill each other. In my grandparent's day the majority didn't speak English as a first language (if at all), had different culture, food, religious standards ...

As a result, most of the their children (our parents) were bilingual ... broken English and broken whatever mom and pop spoke. Even when I was older all the old folk still spoke their own languages and looked at me like I was the crazy one for not understanding them.

Point being, all that diversity blended. People from one culture adopted and changed recipes from another culture. People who couldn't understand each other in casual conversation were able to trade and barter for goods and services. All under the pressures of Spanish flu (which makes the Plandemic look like a bad cold), WWI, Depression, WWII ... extreme economical and health "diversities".

What people are calling "diversity" today is not diversity. It is hostility and intolerance.

Definitions change over time and that is what diversity is now, not what you grew up in a kid. Diversity is not synonymous with blended/blending. Diversity now means different skin colors/ethnicities occupying the same space.
