He is as likable a guy as you will ever find. I think I have told this story before, but one year I went to three separate weddings that he officiated, and the reason he did each one was that he had "dated" the mother of the bride. Ideology aside, he is the most talented politician I've come across. I knew him very little, but if I ever saw the guy at a store, a bar etc, he would know my name, remember how he knew met etc. Really the prototype of knowing exactly how to deal with people.
