Odd, can't find a picture of the 'German National' that did the shooting. Turn out there were two 'German Nationals' in the car. One died, the other is in the hospital.
"For now, the FBI is not releasing the name of either suspect. The FBI said the investigation remains "extremely active."
this is about as weird as the family who shot up Sky Harbor Airport on Christmas, and NO pictures were EVER released.

Amish middle eastern cousins at it again?

Well I'll bet his name is not Hansel and he's always shouting at the sky that he can't find the snackbar.

I wonder if he will call it Warp Speed 2?

Well, its either "we" invest or give other countries the "edge" in what is, at this point, inevitable to happen either way. But there is certainly grift involved plus political payback. I view AI much like anything else - for example firearms. Its not so much about the tool/device as it is who has their "finger on the trigger". AI isn't inherently bad or good, its a tool. Do I trust those who are being positioned to control it? Easy answer, no. But then again my trust circle is pretty small anyways...

terrifying. brave new world and 1984 all rolled into one. i have to assume that none of this whole life monitoring, recording and storing will be voluntary. that use of any of that data will be in control of gov alone is likely the plan. or,might be under control of the "experts". that was a big success during covid. was a huge benefit to the serfs, right? guess they have it 1/2 sold to trump. really the exact opposite of what it seems he ran on ie freedom. worrisome and i suppose public funding will be available.

It's the beast technology and will eventually be used to enslave humanity but yeah...can't put that cat back in the bag.

I think its pretty safe to say that your data and metadata is already stored within the existing (and equally massive) datacenters. While these new datacenters will add more of the same, the concept is not new.

Correct, but this appears to be a whole new level - constant surveillance state, even while you are driving, in your home via smart sensors, TVs, laptops, phones and the like. It's a small leap to go from watching to using identifying algorithms for those deemed to be (or potentially be) "deplorables". Add to this crypto currency and you have an open air prison and full control over a populace that is little more than slaves and a situation where any opinion different than the narrative (including watching "dangerous" material) will get you imprisoned or lowered social credit scores. Then it isn't a far push to state planning of the economy and lives. Very 1984 and Minority Report combined. Our own taxes will be used to control us.

Combined with the ouster of the dairies above it is fairly easy to see that the WEF and its henchmen are alive and well, even in this administration.

Exactly. Amex, Visa, MC, Discover...they know more about you than you do. Go to doctor? They more than likely have it all in EPIC. Personally, I like looking at my tests from various doctors and such. It's not about the technology, it's how easily it is corrupted for political gain.

There was once a guy who lived all by himself in the Northwest who warned that humanity was not ready morally or ethically for such "technology." Not that I agree on his method of bringing attention to this; but those words should ring true to everybody. Until we learn how to isolate that kind of data from the bad actors, we're screwed.

yes i know that. but,i agree with lariat that this takes now to a whole new level. ie total control. and you can bet that if "bad behavior" (or thought) is seen, then the uniform hangers will be sent to deal with you. there will be an abundance of people wiling to fill that role. SS & NKVD were big outfits with plenty of volunteers. my paranoia leads me to believe that the "curing your cancer" is a loss leader and designed to build enthusiasm and acceptance of the whole next level control apparatus. that someone who has Trump's attention and apparent support is openly saying that everyone will be 24/7 monitored and,by inference, controlled is a bit chilling. if it starts, look to see people who object or resist labeled as malignant, ignorant "deniers" just like during covid. that having been what looks like a (successful) practice run.

Two-Year-Old Child Among Dead in Mass Stabbing at German Park, ‘Afghan’ Knifeman Arrested

"At least two people have been killed, including a child, in a mass stabbing at a historic but now crime-plagued park in a Bavarian town."
"police are still not discussing any motives."
"The number of “seriously injured” people has been revised up from two to four, including another child and three adults"

previously in 2021
"To remind readers, in Würzburg in 2021 a Somali asylum seeker living in the city went on a knife rampage, stabbing ten people — all women — three of whom died. One of the deceased was an 82-year-old woman who threw herself between the knifeman and a child he was attacking, while another was a 49-year-old woman while defending another child the Somali was trying to stab."

It doesn't matter what kind of ideology some of those who dwell on the outer edges of civilization adhere to. A solid pattern needs to be set where as soon as a member of their community kills or harms someone elsewhere, what happens very shortly every time is that the dead bodies of the very offenders would be transported back to their home community, bundled up in burlap cloth and bearing a grim document stapled to the fabric stating the consequences of such actions. When that begins to happen every time they offend outside their communities, with grave consequences for even as much as verbally threatening a passerby in religious overtones without provocation, every member of that community will quickly realize that whatever paradise their God promises in the thereafter is not worth the consequences in this one where instead of being able to have their menfolk by their side to prepare food and preserve jams and fruits for the coming winter, they are burying their corpses, and then will have to face the cold wind and short days with their men never coming back again. No need to drop a single bomb on them from a warplane. Because when that happens, like we are seeing in Gaza, that will inevitably create collateral casualties, and that will cause those who had lost innocent family members in these attacks to embrace extremism out of grief and the cycle never ends. What eliminates extremism is a careful, precision, boots on the ground approach to anyone who actually commits violence, while protecting the innocents in their communities as well. Just carry out this process every time an extremist from their community offends and see how fast the rest of their community learns to police their own, even if it is just through fear and self preservation.

Scene from Larry McMurtry's Streets of Laredo (1995): Maria Garza has a flashback to her younger self standing on the banks of the Rio Grande with her entire village as they watch a heavily armed detachment of Texas Rangers cross into their side of the river, with two bundled up corpses of their own village men strapped to the backs of mules.

Captain Woodrow Call: "We caught these men with 30 stolen horses."

Deputy Pea Eye Parker: "A vaquero up on the river told us that they were from this village".

Maria Garza's grandmother: "They are from this village. My son and my grandson."

Captain Call: "We caught em with 30 horses. The law is the law. We hung em, we cut em down".

Deputy Parker: "And brought em home here".

I think the privacy that many perceive they are afforded today is just that, a perception and that perception is quite contrary to reality. Its just not in-your-face in a way that makes it too obvious where people will reject it. It is somewhat subtle and nuanced. "We" are being read-in to this slowly, while on the backend most of the pieces are already together. Things like talking to someone about taking a vacation, then you start getting vacation email spam.

Talking about needing to start working out, and then start getting ads / recommendations from amazon about excersize equipment. And this is just the very thin surface of what is readily available behind the scenes today, right now.

One might argue that the examples I provided are "good" uses of such, as it brings you together with areas of interest. So if thats considered a good use, then whats a bad use? I am sure you can speculate. But that is still analogous to "whos finger is on the trigger".

These supercomputing centers do a lot of "good" from helping to model climate ( yes, I know lol) to nuclear research, astronomy and theoretical physics, etc. So again, the finger on the trigger. It really just comes down to that. I think Trump for one, is a globalist, but the difference is he wants the USA to lead not be lead. But thats just, like...my opinion. I also think he likely doesn't understand all the nuances and it doesn't make me any more confortable with Elon having his ear for such things...

Some of the 308 undocumented criminals ICE rounded up yesterday screamed "FUCK TRUMP, BIDEN FOREVER!" to news cameras as they were placed in squad cars in handcuffs. This group of detainees included Haitian gangsters and murder/rape suspects from cases going back to the summer.

Well, that pretty much explains what road we will have to take to make sure this country thrives and prospers. And that means no donkeys in leadership, hopefully for as long as we can manage it.

It appears that others are sniffing this out as well.

"The collaboration drew harsh and immediate rebuke from Elon Musk, a close Trump advisor who was notably not at the Wednesday press conference, and suggested on X "They don’t actually have the money."

He directed particular vitriol at Altman, whose OpenAI he co-founded and is currently suing; he reposted an image of a crack pipe with the joking allegation that Altman and his associates were smoking it. After hours of this, Altman finally slapped back, saying “i realize what is great for the country isn’t always what’s optimal for your companies, but in your new role i hope you’ll mostly put 🇺🇸 first.” -Politico
And while Altman slapped back against his OpenAI co-founder Musk, both project Stargate, and Altman cozying up to the Trump administration 2.0 has come under attack."
