Historically, if memory serves me, viruses tend to get LESS potent as time goes on, because if they kill their host too soon, they themselves die out. Look at Ebola which has become less lethal the last 10-12 years...granted, it's still lethal as F, but it's not 98% for most strains.
So, perhaps, since it's almost certain with dr. fraudi's assistance, china has made a virus that mutates to be even MORE deadly....gain of function.
