My scatter brained older sister is a devout Marxist and high school English teacher who is too dumb to even use a GPS or Google Map on her phone to find out where our mother lived for thirty years. I had to give her instructions over the phone and walk her in.

My sister, like most of them, lives on Facebook and many of her Facebook 'friends' are her students where she can trade juvenile comments about Trump's hair. She is passive aggressive and very manipulative and there is an ulterior motive behind her seemingly benign suggestions.
She looks to the government like a surrogate father and would spend hours online trying to find free grants. She tried to get me to enroll in Obama care and be dependent on the government. She encouraged me to join Facebook so we could trade mindless, half sentence comments and keep in touch. I played along until the 2016 election when she saw my homepage and realized I was a communist hating Trump supporter and saying anyone that would vote for Hillary is also a vile, pathological lying scumbag.
She 'unfriended' me, deleted all her comments and I haven't spoken to her since. Good riddance.

That's a possibility. IMHO, military wives are probably most least supportive of their husbands. That's true in civilian life but, I think, more so for military wives.
The majority of them couldn't give two Hershey squirts about their husbands military career until it's time to divorce him then get half of his pension.
When I was on active duty there was a running joke that had a lot of truth to it. The Officer's Wives Club ran everything. Everything else was just perception.
You have better friends (surrogate relatives) here than any blood relations. I disowned all of my relatives, haven't looked back and never felt better.

It's the furthest thing from it. Mostly made up of caty army private wives who cant do anything for themselves while husband is deployed.
My wife wanted to help on my second deployment because she had some experience in the subject. I told her to stay away from it all.
Well about halfway through the deployment about 21,000 went missing from the FRG funds.
Luckily my wife had already distanced herself from the group. Two people served jail time over it.
Most wives dont give a shit until about a year or so until their husbands retire, that's when you see the most divorces happen.

This is happening all over the US. My sister is mayor of a small town on the east coast and is a hard core conservative. She is a corporate attorney and worked in a large law firm in Tower 2 but luckily was home with her newborn twins on 9/11. In her town they are putting up conservatives to take over the school board since they are tired of their idiocy. The current school board is shocked and can't understand why they are being challenged.
