That may have been true of real vaccines in the past. At this point, going forward, I am skeptical of anything that is put forward as being a vaccine - real or otherwise.

Ultimately yes, and the real issue is CULTURE not race or skin color as the try to divide us over.
Some of the early humans stayed in Africa while others headed North. (Much further South was not possible until humans learned to build seagoing boats.) By moving out of the equatorial zone, those migrants had to adapt their individual actions and social structures to the challenges of different seasons. Without learning how to plan and warehouse for the winter you would not get very far as an early humanoid. That lead to the cultural virtue of delayed gratification for example.
At the same time, the decreasing sun irradiation in the Northern regions allowed a lesser permanent skin pigmentation to become survivable and people got 'whiter'. (Black skin is an effective protection against DNA damage from the sun's ultraviolet radiation. Similarly, sickle cell anemia is assumed to be another regional adaption to the threat of plasmodium malariae and therefore virtually non-existent in 'white' folks)
My supposed white privilege has nothing to do with skin color but a lot with the fact that a long lineage of my ancestors had to try harder and smarter in order to survive. That knowledge and resulting conventions were woven over millennia into the culture I grew up in. My personal 'privilege' was that my parents loved me enough to not allow me cutting any corners in life. 'Famous' response from my mom to my innovative ideas of avoiding work was "And what happens if everybody does that?".
The National Museum of African American History and Culture gets the salient points right but under the wrong heading of race and color.
If they would now honestly ask themselves what cultural values
- put a man on the moon
- food on everyone's table
- an iPhone in everyone's Gucci bag
- a welfare check into the pockets of the mentally, physically, or motivationally challenged
But if they prefer their next welfare payment determined and mailed out according to their ancestral values - then be my guest.
I spent a substantial amount of time and miles in Africa and while most folks there are delightful people with an enviable sense of authenticity and spontaneous joy it becomes apparent quickly that their core attitudes do not scale well towards complex societies. A central cultural tenet is "Inshalla" which means "if God will". In business terms: Not today, maybe tomorrow, maybe some other time, maybe never. Drives you fucking nuts when you get there from Germany. After a week, you lower your expectations accordingly by about 80%. Seriously, it took about 7 attempts to get a pair of equally stiff leaf springs made for our old-school Landrover and that only after I finally commandeered a forge, anvil, and hammer for a few hours. A leaf spring - not a gearbox, ECU, or Mars Lander. And don't get me started on the corruption on every level in their societies that is only matched by what you see here in democrat controlled cities.
Before my travels to Africa, my family hosted two black (like a diesel tailpipe) students from Nicaragua for several months. I moved into my brother's room and the two guests into my room. We had a great time with these truly foreign guys. Other than their color and some language challenges there were no significant differences. They came to our German culture in appreciation and with the goal to learn as much as possible and then apply this in their home country. Needless to say that they both succeeded materially and spiritually. In contrast, hateful envy coupled with excuses for laziness is extremely bad Karma.

It is more plausible that cause and effect are connected in the opposite: The ones who left had to up their game. Except for the desert zones, Africa is a decent place for basic subsistence. Anything much further North requires more planning and more effort due to the increasing difference between seasons. That environmental pressure then caused more advanced skills and more complex cultures to emerge.

Not to be an ass, but have you been there? there are some really intelligent and moral people living where they were born and trying to make the best of it. Just like we have white trash, black and Native American losers here, what you reference doesn’t represent everyone, to that I can attest. I agree that Africa can be immensely frustrating beyond anything in America, but that doesn’t mean they are all pieces of shit. The political class there though….
To confuse prosperity with with wisdom can be a mistake. Although I will grant that it is more complicated than what a thread in a forum can detail out. I’m not sure that the Jigsaw puzzle of Africa can ever be fully solved, and China is about to discover that. . There are extremely smart and extremely dumb people in all races and cultures. And what is smart or moral in one place is not necessarily the same in another. If you put Einstein into a dry desert, he will die in short order but the 'primitive' local knows how to survive employing very ingenious methods.
My personal observation on three continents agrees with the hypothesis that the differences between races are small compared to how the cultural context influences the abilities of the individuals. Cultures respond much faster to environmental pressure and opportunities than our biology.

Was at doctor today. Had a resident (teaching hospital). I asked about the jab, specifically J&J since I have to either take the jab or lose my job. Since my company is based in a commie state, they will NOT take no for an answer. So, I asked. This resident said "I just did 2 week rotation in ICU and it was 90% covid patients. Some choose not to get the intubation and drown, the others die, but it takes a month. It's really bad on the lungs even if you survive." I just wanted to puke because that was my last chance to get a medical exemption and I could see right there this bastard didn't believe anything was wrong with the shot.

God is onboard with letting Satan test how much of His wisdom is shielding the grey matter sitting behind each of our foreheads though. That is where all of this leads before the curtain closes. That can't happen if they kill everyone off and replace them with machines.

From where I stand, the media is actually above the three branches of government. At least there are checks and balances among the Legislative, Judicial, and Executive branches, even though they have decayed over the years. And we do have elections that if fair, give the citizen some power over government. There are currently no checks whatsoever on the media. The public could be a check on the media, but I can't even get a TV package, cable, streaming or otherwise, that allows me to not pay for CNN and MSNBC. As long as they have funding, they will continue to run unchecked over the entire country.
I say this from a position of care, not criticism. We all have to decide our own line.
