Whoever this guy is , he certainly doesn't work for God . You cannot serve both God and Satan, and you sure as hell can't associate with demons like Pelosi and say you are the salt and light. These people wear the cloth , yet they serve the darkness .

Personally I’m thinking a little bit ahead of that line of thinking though. Wrecked my car recently so saving up to get another. Soon as I do, going straight to Kubota. (They start you off 18-21/hr + teach you how to weld). From there, gonna start taking machinist classes on the side...
I’m sure most of y’all can see where I’m going with this.

I could be making 70k/yr right now with my degree. But I’m still young, had a man to man convo with my pap. And he told me son, do what makes you happy. Rifles make me happy. Building rifles, especially rifling barrels is a dream job of mine. And if things ever go tits up.. knowing how to build a decent quality firearm from scratch could be worth its weight in gold(or lead 😉)

I'm contemplating going your route. I would definitely take a massive pay hit but perspectives on what is important in life changes as we age.

What is your degree?

Ultimately, you want to be your own boss. However, there is value in working for a corporation and learning how business is done, how people are successfully managed or not, how the books are maintained, etc. Many successful businesses were spun off from larger entities. They adopted what the former employer did well and capitalized on the opportunities left unseized.

Another significant amount of new businesses emerge from side hustles of corporate employees. The regular paycheck is the R&D budget for their new ventures until they find a way to be profitable by themselves. You can work at the 70k level and learn the stuff you are interested in on the side. Most large companies will contribute to continuing education if it is somewhat related to their business.

The one thing you want to avoid is getting the 70k job and then spending all the money you earn plus money you don't have on toys. This will make you a permanent slave to the job and the bank.

The difference between the Kubota job and 70k is roughly 30k per year. That goes a long way if not blown on frills. Just looking at the financial side, I would take the 70k job, learn as much as I can there, max out my 401k contribution, live a frugal life, and save the excess funds for future business ideas or other investments.

I have struggled for years being a Catholic knowing all the shit they have/let have done. The last few years they have done nothing with any of the power they have to help get baby killers out of office or stand by any conservative candidates. I can only come to the conclusion they are a wing of the swamp and corruption?

Whether it's government or religion --maybe once started out with good intentions but turns into corruption, power and the want to control the masses.
