Your boss is an idiot. He wasn't acting as a vigilante. He was trying to protect property from fire and render medical aid, the AR was for his protection and it came in damn handy.

Here’s a thought for resolving the rising crime in “New York City.” Lay off every member of the New York City Police force. By laying them off they can seek new employment elsewhere while also earning, Well Earned unemployment benefits. Then abolish all laws.
Therefore, there can be no crime because there are no laws to break. All of New York Cities troubles will be over
