"I want people to see how they fucked up their kids."
i read that, and i stop to consider how vicious the after effects can potentially be, and i wouldnt even come close to uttering something like that. because it doesnt just SOUND like it, it certainly CAN be taken the way i took it-on it’s face without changing a word. and i obviously wasnt the only one.
you take out the word “see” and replace it with “realize”, i havent an issue with it.
but when you say “"I want people to see how they fucked up their kids." to me, that means you want them to witness the horror of their children’s suffering.
now you can say everyone else on this board is stupid if you want. and while an occasional dumbass does stroll through; by and large most folks here are pretty sharp. if something comes out of my mouth and folks call me on it, or start jumping down my throat about it, i’m probably going to clarify my point; maybe look at how i worded something. MANY times i go back and edit a post because i am not happy with the way it is worded to convey what i want it to. i don’t sit back and tell everyone how dumb they are.
it is possible that you did indeed mean that you hope people realize their mistake, instead of witnessing the horror play out on their kids. i sure hope so, and will give you the benefit of a doubt on that.
i still say you’re playing semantics with your statement and attempting to play like you arent.
