Extremely stupid on her part indeed. And stupidity was on both sides of this as well.
First off, the guy is not aware of how other peoples' minds work and just how unhinged they may be under a veil of outward appearance. AND this person had, at that moment, his safety and even life in her hands. She could have injected him with an air bubble if she was unhinged enough. No matter what you orient towards politically, it is BEST if you maintain the gray man whenever you are around somebody who is in charge of your health, your food, your parked car at a resort garage, your pets, your children at daycare etc... Because you don't know them and they CAN fuck you and your family's shit up if they want to.
Secondly, the med student is REALLY, REALLY fucked up now. Her info is all over the Internet now. And she has no idea what the guy she harmed has in mind. He could very well be looking forward to discharging a round of 12-gauge 00 buck right into her abdomen at contact range outside her apartment entrance for all anybody know....... And, people like her are no doubt on the lists of many, many folks all over the place. Come time when a near-boog arrives, like summer of 2020, and it doesn't even need to be a period of social unrest, somebody out there who want easy "credit", "practice", or a notch on the grip of their weapon might just have individuals like her in their sights already...
