They are not only giving away the technology, but they are creating the vulnerability here to allow China to literally walk in and take over (just like buying up farmland and properties next to military bases). In grade school I had teachers who were W.W. II and Korea vets, we said The Pledge of Allegiance every morning. In high school a few Vietnam vets, but less vets overall and no morning Pledge. IMO the changes in tone were very obvious from the 70's to the 80's as The Dept. of Education was created and became active. The transition from teaching how to think and solve problems and the possible shame of being held back a year eroded into teaching what to think and everyone passes during this time.
