The other truly impactful economic factors don’t play into that? You need to educate yourself on basic economics. The dates to 2005 include several recessions, credit crunches, stock market dumps, industry crises, financial market issues, etc. You are projecting a fact on top of another trend to create a false narrative.

Kennedy and Johnson rode on the heels of that spending and servicemen coming back home and adding to the workforce that then also included women in ways not previously done. Are you saying that we need war to keep the GDP high? I mean, that’s what’s going on here. The major conflicts correlate to the presidents with highest GDP. If I use this shitty graph, then it follows that Trump SHOULD have a lower GDP when you combine bringing our troops home and Covid lockdowns.
