This is a sign outside Area 51. Note the fine print in red at the bottom of the sign. If there is supposedly "nothing to see" at that installation why does it need protected with use of deadly force?

Don't worry, he won't be eligible to run. The DS is bound and determined to make it to where he cannot.
That said, he will not get any of what he says he's going to do unless he can grow up and not trash talk everybody with a slight disagreement or perspective. The "my way or the highway" works fine if you're the owner of a company; but even then people will walk off the job. THAT is his biggest character flaw. Any different perspective is met with a complete trashing by Trump. One cannot build any consensus with that attitude.
I think, and I know folks here are not super pro Ron DeSantis, but he said it correctly: “I also think just in terms of my approach to leadership, I get personnel in the Government who have the agenda of the people and share our agenda. You bring your own agenda in you’re gone. "
Trump needs to make this about the Marxists, and so far...well, save for this clip, he's more interested in attacking anybody with a differing opinion however slight it may be.

I'm not talking about consenscus with the enemy; he cannot even build consensus with like-minded folks.
I have a lot of buddies who are conservative; but some have more conservative ideas than me, and some don't. In Trump's mind, it appears, that he'd view these as enemies and not people of very similar beliefs with a slightly different spin on things. That's how it appears - that he wants only "exact-minded" people.
He's alienates almost everybody. Maybe I'm wrong, and I hope I am; but until he can stop with the petty attacks against folks who are conservative (and I don't need to hear DeSantis/Davos things for this argument), he's never going to be able to change the inner workings of agencies like the Alphabeti. He's going to have to find the like-minded (not exact-minded) folks WITHIN those departments.
Then he's going to have to be willing to fire people like Fauci when he runs across them. This goes for any future POTUS.
The only thing I would say is that a LOT of Conservatives are RINOS and that includes people not elected to office.

I don't know....I have a feeling if a RINO is on the ticket and a D. The vote will go to the RINO. It has to be better right? And then there are the people that just don't know what these people stand for. Here locally we had a senate seat open up. A member of the house put her hat in the ring for that and she got smoked. She was a bit of a mouse, as well as a RINO. So no go. She is now out and we have a new guy in the house in her old seat. I have high hopes for him. He was a news reader here locally, and pretty well known for his right leaning views. The person running against him called him that right wing TV guy.
