I have trouble taking it seriously as it shows the happy Germans rebuilding. If it showed the civilian population in effective slavery while millions starved to death, it might be closer to accurate.

Yeah I caught some things as well. The main takeaway I saw was that the war effectively crashed economies, wiping most of the populace out financially and then rebuilding a new system through the follow-on civil wars, mass deportations and executions of those who were identified as the problem. It was essentially a reset via kinetics. History may very well repeat this, and it is a cautionary tale.
