What kind of chickens do you have that are laying two to three eggs a day?
Magic chickens, you buy them from the scary guy that sells beanstalk beans
We had chickens growing up, we got little to no eggs in "winter" as well.
Either we didn't know or didn't bother with it back then but from what I understand it's a daylight thing. Shorter days means fewer eggs down to none on the shortest days. I've heard you can keep hens producing in the shorter days with supplemental lighting.
I didn't continue the tradition of raising chickens but some of my siblings have and a chicken that lats two eggs in a day or an egg every day for a week or more isn't common for them.

I'm afraid my state is/will be more commie, if we lose the House and Senate. Judges are supposed to be neutral in the court of law, but they are not. We just can't rid ourselves of this global commie shit. Milw. and Madison are about as blue as blue can get. I still think we all will see the time when, even in this country, we possibly can and will, see times like the videos of S.A. burning in the streets, and don't say it can't happen here, because it can.
