As a comparison, growing up we had a gay hairdresser who joined (Before mainstream denominations went nuts - I’m old…dont forget…lol). Some people thought he shouldn’t be allowed IN Church. Of course, I disagreed with that. He too is a sinner, like all of us. The difference is he was there every week. Dressed in coat and tie even as people started wearing jeans. Never, I mean NEVER, did he come across as anything other than a Christian (and I don’t really know if he was gay or that was a rumor). He made his pledges and wanted to be more active even whilst getting beat down by some members.

This stuff in a Christian Church is on an entirely different level. I’d go so far as to say it has NOTHING to do with being gay but is an agenda movement; exactly what agenda I can only speculate the end-goal. I will say once Churches sold out and made everything “okay” notice how membership just dropped off the map.

Indeed. That’s what I said long time ago (though not the tranny thing). I simply put to my father…the man is a sinner…just like you and I. Let he who has no sin cast the first stone….that lesson needs to be learned time-and-time again. What right is it of “mine” to say he cannot come to Church and seek peace and salvation. It's not "sin" that's incompatible with the church. We're all sinners. It is the elevation of sin that is incompatible. It is pride in sin that is not forgivable. Jesus loved and forgave everyone, but he did not do it without the jussive that they go forth and sin no more. There is no Christianity without acknowledgement of sin and then repentance. That is literally what believing is, and to celebrate sin is the opposite of that.

Don't forget, the only time that Jesus got angry was when they were defiling His Fathers house. Celebrations of sin in church is the worst thing you can do in this reality. Jesus will forgive almost anything, but if you want to see him mad with swords coming out of his mouth then do this....

"Come to me, all who are weary and burdened" doesn't mean you are welcome to stay that way - or even worse - promote ill behavior.

"Love one another, just as I have loved you" does not mean that we have to tolerate their behavior either. So many like to remember the 'turn the other cheek', but forget about that time Christ turned over tables and drove people out of His Father's temple.

If we are all judgement and no grace, then there is no welcome for the lost to stay and try to find their way. However, if we are all grace and no judgement, then there is no conviction or example for the lost to find their way either. How do we balance that? I'm not very good at it, I'm still pretty lost myself, but I try to get better each day...
