My greatest fear is that this country has gone too far to come back to Christ. Have we, as a nation, forsakened God?
When I was in the National Guard, the LT teaching the Civil Disturbance Training told us that if we had to carry M-16s, that we were not getting ammunition.
I liked that LT. He did us a favor. Well, it was a favor for those of us that were smart enough to pick up on it.
I made up my mind that I would be carrying my personal ammo in my magazines; which would fit comfortable in my BDU cargo pockets. I was not the only one thinking like that.

The MN guard, 2-135 is not like most guard units. They have a long history of combat deployments, there are many combat experienced soldiers on the streets of Mpls right now.
Hell, my understanding was, our NG/Res. troops have spent damn near more time in the sandbox, than our regular forces have, hence, my comment, or, am I wrong? Mac
That is true for a handful of states, MN is one of those that has a constant deployment rotation going so lots of experience. In fact they are on the way home from one right now. But that is not the case in most states from my understanding.

If you have been paying attention over the past year, the police in all the major communist run cities were happy to just follow orders and refuse to protect any decent folks from being hurt. Just remember God decided when our grandkids would be alive on this earth and what would take place (or would be allowed to take place) during that time. Before the foundation of the world. Jesus' sacrifice is sufficient. It's OUR job to teach them faith in God and set an example for them to follow. I feel I have fallen far short in this mission. Now for a story. I won't say where or when this happened because some of the folks that participated in this event may still be alive and I don't want anything negative to come out of it.
So let's call the place is Mayberry. My friend was a gun dealer with a lot of combat time under his belt. He had three purple hearts and four bronze stars. Nothing bothered him. I've never seen a more soft spoken man in my entire life. Let's call my friend Fred.
There was a nasty drug infested biker gang that moved in a house in Mayberry. They moved into a house and before anyone knew it, the place was Grand Central Station for drugs, prostitutes and crime.
The residents in this part of Mayberry complained to the Chief of Police who made excuses about not being able to do anything about it.
During the meeting with the residents, the Chief told them; "Me and my men will be waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay on the other side of town next Saturday. I want you all to understand that we are going to be waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay on the other side of town. If there is any trouble, we won't be able to answer any calls for the entire evening. So please be safe."
The residents in the troubled neighborhood took the hint but didn't have enough firepower.
Fred dealt mostly in used guns. He had enough in his shop to equip an entire infantry company! So the men of the neighborhood asked if they could borrow any of his guns.
Fred didn't give a damn about anything and that included paperwork! So he told them; "Take what you want boys. All I ask is that you clean them if you have to use them and put them back where you found them. I got plenty of ammo to."
They took almost ever rifle and pistol in his store.
Apparently the men of the neighborhood surrounded the house and gave everyone enough time to gather their belongings, told them to leave and never come back.
Fred got every gun back in the same condition that it was in before being loaned out.
And they lived happily ever after!
