All the politicians, huh? As though dimwits like MTG and Sinema wouldn't just blurt that shit out. And why didn't the revered cheeto face blow the lid off it, when he was in office? POTUS has more access to classified shit than anyone else in the US.
The thing about conspiracies is the larger they are, the more likely someone leaks it. Some bureaucrat functionary develops a conscience or wants their 15 minutes, it's all over the place. For those who think whistleblowers would be taken out by the government, Edward Snowden would like to have a word.

So if a whistleblower had a video of boxes of ballots being pulled from under a covered table, but the election official said it was fine, who would you believe?
It's a lot easier, and less messy to discredit a whistle-blower than to kill them. Especially if most of the media is already on your side.

Rather than have yard sales, I use to give my stuff (which wasn't worn out junk) to the Salvation Army. I use to toss extra change in the bucket outside the stores at Christmas. Not anymore.

My Father was in Europe in WWII. He told me how the Salvation Army use to get as close as they could to the FEBA to pass out extra socks, mittens and sweaters to the troops. He didn't have anything good to say about the Red Cross.

I hope some of my other favorite charities don't get "woke."

I too was a big proponent of Salvation Army over Red Cross. You'd think at my age I wouldn't be disheartened and frankly broken hearted that an organization I've generally viewed upon as a reasonable agency has turned woke. I'd like to know who on the board approved that shit and how long those who approved it have been on said board. It's depressing.

I'm very close to opening the tip and just dumping my old, but still wearable/usable shit and saying fuck all. There are a few local organizations here that due have thrift stores - a church mission, dog rescue thrift store, and another community mission. I'll try that route first.

What you're calling whistleblowers, those are the ones that are allowed to go public. All the information given given has been properly sanitized.

The president didn't have access the way people believe the position does. The information the president has is strictly need to know. It's called plausible deniability.

And no, the president of the United States does not have access to more classified information than anybody in the US… that is categorically false statement. The only classified information the president has access to, is need to know.

I've said it before, we aren't far off from completely callous acknowledgement of severe reactions. The "Safe and effective" line will go away. Replaced by:

"It doesn't matter if you die from the shot, you take it or we will cancel your access to society. Only those who overcome the reactions deserve their place among the living"

Yes, but I have the idea in my head that eventually the shot is going to kill all (meaning 100%) those that have it. It is just a matter of time.
