2. NOT putting Hilary in cuffs.
3. NOT voting to abolish the Patriot Act.
4. NOT voting to make red flag laws Unconstitutional.

Not so sure about that. Russia being a permanent member of the UN security council and China being on it too would love to see the US split. If one were to request a seat at the UN I could see these two helping them to be their own Republic. This would make another civil war much harder as the US would be boycotted internationally for attacking a UN member state. Just something to think about, not saying it would ever happen. That said, as a country we are becoming ever more divided and a country divided cannot stand.
Your last point is true but do you EVER see the US becoming "united" again from a ideological point of view? Maybe I am being myopic but I do not see where Conservative have changed much over the past twenty years. Our basic tenants have stayed pretty much the same - let us live our lives based on our choices and respect our GOD given rights. The Democrats have changed a lot over that same period of time - they are pushing much harder for mainstreaming of every abhorrent behavior you can imagine, the only rights you have come from the GOV, open and brazen vilification of contrasting opinions to name a few of their new beliefs. How can the differences be reconciled?
The ONLY that has changed with Conservatives over the last 30 years is we have had ZERO representation in House, Senate or WH.

One would hope it would be amicable like Czechoslovakia and how the two split and became their own countries. However, I feel the left wants to rule and have no intention of ever splitting up the US. They instead would want to crush conservatives. For a Balkanization to happen one would need outside help.

The reality of the situation is that "we" could self Balknanize rather easy. It just takes people to stop preaching to the choir on forums, sacrifice their living locations, find new jobs etc and focus purely on local "Politics".
Stop worrying about what is going on in California when you live in Mississippi.
Stop worrying about what AOC is saying when she is not Representing your district.
IF we put all this "federal" political focus to our own respective town focus then guess what......shit changes to exactly what that town wants.

I am constantly bewildered by folks that cannot see that 2021 is not, and never again can be, like the 20th and 19th Centuries. It's not going back - it has to go forward. The Solutions for The Republic are in the future, not the past. Stop looking backward to a time without all this technology and information sharing as a reference for what we need to do now and for the rules and terms to make a Plan for going forward.
The way we make decisions and plans needs to evolve. This whole concept that the Old Ways are written in stone and form some kind of rule book for how we make plans is just dumb....Like the days when we repaired electronics and devices were designed to be maintained for decades. Now devices are literally superseded and obsolete but the time they fail. I am amazed at how we will get out of this box when we think that everything we need to know is already known and documented in 100 year old books. The whole fucking world has changed in the last 25 years and we think 1860's thinking will pull US out of this mess.
We are doomed if we think we can just revive and old plan/concept and tweak it to fit the 21 Century. The answers and solutions are ahead - not behind.

hopeful, but doubtful. if trump with his sold out stadiums couldn't beat biden with his empty stadiums (whether by cheating or actual turnout), i sorta doubt GOP will pull off many more wins. but certainly hopeful and i'm def voting GOP.
