Join the contest SubscribeI love that JAE still lives on.
MDT - please don't change much, if anything, on the JAE chassis'!
We are very early into this project, thank you for the feedback. We will see what the future holds for this. The only mod I'd like to see is being able to use the internal weight kit. And maybe removable skins, for those of us that
have to change the color of our rifles every six months![]()
maybe the price will come down from insane to reasonable.

Except the time to get one and the price. Otherwise dont change much.
the people who own them, tend to own severalIf they had sold 1000 in their whole existence I would be surprised. I have personally seen a total of 5. Ever.
More wishful thinking than anything. I'm just glad that MDT stepped up to keep a great option alive. We are very early into this project, thank you for the feedback. We will see what the future holds for this.
idk what your definition of 'expensive hooker' is but i would not agree with your $400 valuation being expensiveI had one. It was excellent. Maybe the best.
It just wasn’t 5 visits to an expensive hooker better than the second best.
@MDT_OFFICIAL will you guys be covering existing chassis for warranty work as well? Thanks
the people who own them, tend to own several
Yep I have 3 SA chassis and a LA chassis love themthe people who own them, tend to own several
Did you say $1000? When they came out the JAE M14 stock was $780 or something like that.
BoooooooooWell...if they priced them at $999...I'd probably buy a long and a short action
EDIT to add....for a Remmy 700 pattern....because that's the only pattern that matters![]()
@MDT_Josh can I go ahead and put money down for a pre-order?I still have my Gumball artist rendition of what I tried to buy from them a few months ago. Long Action.
If you guys get these below $1500....you will sell a *%$* ton.
maybe the price will come down from insane to reasonable.
We're very excited about this opportunity to carry on with such an iconic chassis. We have acquired the designs and asset, however, if the opportunity arises to collaborate we will.Good for you guys great fit and I hope Lisa is part of your plans! JAE is a great product, well thought out, seems the production side caused the issues which you will resolve. Good news for the industry and consumers! Thank you for making it happen.
The price will be looked at for sure.
We will see what changes, if any need to be made. We know it's a very beloved design. We love it too!
Yes, that will be a big part of this for sure.
They do make a jae700 for tikka, insight arms still have one, it grey, I bought the tan one last month, cost was $1560Precisely - optioned our at $1000 to 1200 and it would murder its competition in that range.
And I would like to see a Tikka option. R700 is cool till it ain’t.
Bought mine back in 2013, waited almost a year, but decided to go with a Manners EH-1 instead to be lighter and sold the JAE, something I will always regret, I loved that stock. Not only functional but sexy as well.
@MDT_Josh previous posts mentioned around summer 2020, are you still on track for this timeframe and any news about whether the design is staying the same or are you changing some things up?
