Post count dropped today

I noticed recently that I was nearing 5000 post. 4980 or so. Then just now I noticed post count dropped to 4944?
No big deal but I wonder if I am correct? Could my post count drop?

I know I another forum if the mods permanently deleted a thread. Whatever posts you had in that thread also got deleted and thus removed from your post count

Possible, I have been in a couple of heated ones recently. Normally I try to avoid them so guess it did not happen before.

Oddly enough one thread was deleted. It was on a Niedner Mauser of all things????

No, I don't think so. The guy was very interested and attached to it.
There was a bit of a heated exchange about details of the action that I was too deep into. But That had passed.
Too bad, there was a lot of good information brought out in the thread.

OP I see your last comment was a couple weeks ago, but fwiw I think I heard Frank say on one of the podcasts earlier this year that he was going to clean up the classified sections by deleting old ads. I was up over 100 at one point last year (never sold anything though) and then my post count dropped by 20 or so, probably due to all the stuff I buy here.
