Was thinking we should start a thread to post groups in, say from 300yds/ms+. I am always interested in seeing groups.

Guess Ill start first was 312yds today

the other day, 491yds, first shot went off the top right corner of the target

My personal best is this 2.52" group at around 530-50 yards.

This was done with this rifle. The Picture in my sig is actually when I shot the group with the last four shots I had left.

400yards, breezy, but not blowing hard (150g Horandy Superformance SST) normally I group tighter with the 165's but this day I was shooting well... under 3"

700 yards 175smk@2550fps used my new fdac, which was within 1/4 moa of perfect. Held .5 mil wind. 5 shots 8" spread counting the one I pulled low,4 were under 5". Not bad for a factory Remington Tactical and 10x nikon...(can of chew for reference

from my 24in AR15 .223 , i was shooting those (crappy) wideners 75 hpbt , i guessed the g7 bc around .17 ,avg mv 2750 , target was at 500y,wind was 10 mph from 3oclock , resulting in allot of drift, sorry my camera sucks

6 shots with 75gr Vmax out of my AR.243WSSM at 400 meters. The top splash was a previously shot .308 round.

Yesterdy 521yds, 8 of 10rounds, cold bore was a miss, and I for some reason thought it would be a good idea to leave my finger in the trigger guard when I let the safety off my 700, and had an AD, but it ALMOST hit the plate, it wasnt much of a miss. Anyway 8 of 10 521yds, 74F, 4-8mph winds at 7oclock 1800hrs 2100da. Not near as good as most above, but figured hopefully this will get more people to show their results. Oh, its an 8" plate.

Worst part about it, is it's a big game hunting rifle and that was a very mild load of Varget with 75gr Vmax. Not the ideal combo for 250+ lb deer, so I never use it.

I've been working for 2 years to find an equally accurate load using either 95gr Bergers or 105 Amax and now even 87gr Vmax and 87gr HPBT as well and while I've come close...nothing has been able to replicate the group in the picture.

I didn't shoot the group. it was shot from the test shed at PWS in Quantico. the rifle is my M1A Scout Squad.

Went to the range today; all groups are at 500 yards. .308 178g AMAX Bullets under 44.2 Varget

.780 MOA, without that flyer would have been ~.5 MOA

.446 MOA without the flyer, .874 MOA with.

.648 MOA

.474 MOA then the dang flyer that keeps biting me.... .860 MOA

.396 MOA and .803 MOA I think the flyers are me getting excited and not taking my time, they were always the 5th shot.

Great thread! Outside of the early phases of load developement, I couldn't give one pinch of shit about what's going on at a 100. I'll try to get some pics in if I could ever get off the pistol range. Winter time is rifle time for me. Keep the info and pics coming.

They do! That was a gift from a couple good friends who came out and shot here last May. Damn thing must weigh 250 pounds. Maybe thats why they left it with me....laffin!

Here's a gander at my very first trip out to 500 with the 700 MLR .338LM. Load is a 250 SMK over 88.0gr RL19, muzzle velocity of 2863fps. Again, this was the maiden voyage for the MLR to 500 and was dialing in using Shooter App on my HTC Hero. Not the best group but thought I'd throw her in the mix, minus the flyers (two farthest right shots) it's a good start. Shooter app was about 1MOA off (high).

Here's where we were shooting. The white speck on the right is my Silverado, target is the teeny white speck 98 yards to the left of my truck.....

Next, ladder test results with my custom FN, shot at 313 yards. Rock 10 twist tube running 208 Amax over Varget. Shots 8,9 and 10 mic'd out .786" center to center......I think I hit my node!!

500yrds, 2500ft, 100+F, Wind at back 25mph, 10 shot, within 20 sec.

A little 6mm Crusader FF practice for this weekends Varmint Silhouette match. Was hoping for a bit tighter, but I'll run it and see what it brings me.

5 shots @ 675 yards. nothing special... i shot some better groups at different steel but this is the one i was able to drive to during the cease fire. get rid of two flyers and its something worth showing. wind 7-10 mph full value.

Stock Remington 5R and NF NXS F1, prone, bipod rear bag. During load development. 300 yds. ETA, edge to edge is .998, the quarter will cover it. so riht at 1/3 MOA. The rifle could do this <span style="font-style: italic">occaisonally</span>, but now it has been bedded, and a little trigger work and it is <span style="font-style: italic">consistantly</span> 1/3 MOA. I am happy with it. Its good to have it consistant with a known load, as it teaches me how I am screwing up <span style="font-style: italic">immediatly</span> when I do. Got to love that in a rifle.

3 shot group from tonight. Wasn't overally impressed with the accuracy of usa ammo's 155 amaxs.... although I got the new batch and they are shooting fine from the gun and a big thanks to them for making that deal right... fast. (had some of the ones that were extracting hard)

Anyway...I'm sure if I kept shooting I would have opened this group up... but at 3 it was really tight!! (Black square is 1")

5 shots 300yds. 1st shot broke early because I was a doofus and had my finger on the trigger before I was ready--that's the flyer.

A little while ago at 600yd: just a hair over 3"

Round two of the ladder testing on my FN. 208 Amax's jammed .01" into the lands, R-P brass, Varget powder and Fed 210 primers. Seated 2.220" at the ogive.

Shots 1-3 clustered in at 1.254" (.29 MOA). Shot 4 slid out when as I lit her off and the wind gusted right as I broke the shot.

Loads worked up on each of the rounds in the node for accuracy testing here in the near future!

My Surgeon in 6.5x47 Lapua with 130 Berger VLDs.

Shot this 5" group yesterday @ 1000 on a B27A target. I had one erroneous input in my DROID's Shooter program and was 18-20" low. Also didn't figure for enough wind.

Shot this a few weeks back from 600.

Here is my "light" (7.5 lbs) 30-06 Ackely with a now defunct 3-18 IOR. This 4.25" group was at 818 yds.

I've posted this group before. 600 yards, five rounds right at one inch.

250 gr Scenar at 3015fps
YHM can
PH 5-25 set on 17x

5400 msl, 30%rh, 65 fat, zero wind

Caveat: This was a one-off. I'm really not this good. Maybe I'll get to the level where I can shoot this well consistently some day.

Got out today with my new UGSW Tikka .260 to prep for a match on Sat.

Shot only @ 500 yards.

First round on the right was a sighter. Next three rounds:

Here's my score from the last 1K yard competition at the Desert Marksman in Palmdale, CA. I placed 5th in Magnum class. The first 5 shot were scored for group. The smallest group wins a prize. The winner measured 8.75", mine measured 13.75". I however had the most shot inside the X ring. 13 out of 25 shot were inside the X Ring.

Ladder testing completed recently and finally shooting groups from the ladder test.

Custom FN .308, 1-10 twist Rock M24. Load- R-P 1x brass, Fed 210 primer, 41.8gr Varget with a 208 Amax jammed .01" in the lands.

Three shots at 300 yards dead up. Came in at .499" center-to-center (.807" extreme spread). Shot prone from the bipod with a sand sock. Excuse the pic, cell phone was all I had at the time.

this isn't a group but i shot a golf ball at 500 yards today. 3rd round takes it at around 30 seconds in; you can see the bullet trace too.
