Prairie dog size?

I would like make some steel targets that are about the size of a prairie dog. They will be simple tombstone shaped thingies. The only problem I have is I've never seen one. So an average height and width measure would really help me.

I have a steel one made by one of our vendors that really works well. It is 10"H by 3"W side silhouette with the paws sticking out 3 3/4"

about 12x3 will match for a standing one.

This is a "bull" prairie dog. The shoe is a 10.5 D.

This one almost made it home...but not quite.

Three common sizes. This safari occurred on August 9, 2009.

50grn V-max over 38 grains of H380 in a .22-250. VAPOOORIZES them!

54. gr IMR 4831 under a 75 V-max in a 25-06, sends them every way every time.

Also, 26. gr of BLC under a 75 Amax makes a hell of a mess with my Ar.
